He had an opinion

It is not that he doesn't accept other opinions,
But he understands what is meant to have an opinion,

He understood that they didnt like him to heal on Saturdays, but he insisted on doing most of his miracle on Saturdays.

He understood totally that he shouldn't enter Jerusalem that day, but he entered!

He knew the cup, and he knew how bitter it was.
But he never chose what he wanted.

He didn't do his will, but he did his father's will.

He could have used the demons going out from people to testify that he is the son of God, but he refused it totally.

He could have kept preaching without mentioning the Pharisees with anything good or bad, he could simply ignore them,
But he insisted in facing them with what they were doing!!

He insisted on saying eat my flesh and drink my blood, although most of his followers unfollowed him,
And his disciples screamed these words are hard, who can hear them!!
Only Peter understood this:
" Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." (John 6:68, 69 NKJV)

.......................................................
Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is. the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds. You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood. (Hebrews 12:2-4 AMP)
